DIRECTV (US)
Built and executed the market strategy for the independent Retailer distribution channel to accelerate subscription growth in the face of intense competition; developed and operationalized a programmatic model to convert and onboard 3,000+ reseller partners, including strategic deals with Regional Buying Groups, RCA, Sony, and Sales Management Agents (1997–1999).
DIRECTV (US)
Originated and closed broadband bundling partnerships with WildBlue and HNS; supported renegotiation and expansion of bundling agreements with Verizon and AT&T, including design of end-to-end operational support inside DIRECTV (2011).
DIRECTV (US)
Co-led diligence on the TiVo acquisition and XM Satellite Radio investment (1999).
DIRECTV (Japan)
Executed partnership with NTV and supported the development of the exit strategy and sale of subscriber base to SkyPerfecTV; negotiated commercial contracts with Sony and managed all in-field labor collaboration; advised C-suite on joint venture dissolution (1999–2000).
Star Channel (Japan)
Served as contract Chief Commercial Officer for the JV; secured broadband distribution rights with US movie studio shareholders; negotiated and operationalized broadband carriage agreements with Plala and other IPTV platforms; delivered 20%+ SG&A expense reduction (2004–2005).
TNMG (Japan)
Conceived and negotiated partnerships with 35 tier-one media companies, and commercial vendor agreements with NTT, Chungwha Telecom, Equinix, Capital Maharaja Group, Sony, Foxcomm, and Hammers (2005–2009).

Developed the business case and structured and executed all commercial partnerships for the VipTV business (2009–2010).

HOOQ (Singapore)
co-led business plan development, post-JV close served as interim Country Head, Philippines, responsible for GTM and telecom partnership expansion with Globe (Philippines) and various partners in Indonesia including TSEL (2014–2016).

Led NTT docomo business plan concept and development, cross-functional alignment, negotiation and execution of $800M Amazon Prime bundling and handset app distribution agreements; oversaw post-deal implementation and account management (2019–2021).

Led $200M Prime bundling and app distribution partnership with KDDI; managed post-deal implementation, account management, and the re-negotiation of Amazon’s mobile carrier billing deal (2019–2021).

Structured, negotiated, and completed a commercial and technology distribution alliance; developed terms for regional expansion (2025).

Star Channel (Japan JV)
Acting CCO for joint venture among TFC, Sony, Itochu, and News Corp; closed refinancing agreements with major US studio shareholders (2004–2005).
TNMG (Japan VentureCo)
Built business plan and secured $12.5M Series A funding and operated the venture for four years (2005–2009).
Astro / Singtel (Singapore JV)
Built, negotiated, and managed a $250M joint venture to purchase PayTV assets; led diligence on ATV, Cable Thai Holdings, and others (2013–2014).
HOOQ (Singapore JV)
Co-developed the business and investment plan; co-led JV negotiations and JVA close with Sony and Warner; led partner evaluations with PE firms (2014–2016).
Singtel GDL
Developed short-form video strategy, led $15M Series D investment in Maker Studios (with Astro) and led content partnerships with Maker Studios, Machinima, and Dailymotion; contributed to BPL rights acquisition business planning and negotiations (2014).
